DANNY BATTH grabbed his second goal of the season as Sheffield Wednesday won 3-0 at home to Bournemouth.
The defender scored the opening goal after just four minutes before further goals from Julian Bennett and Michaeil Antonio wrapped up their the Owls’ second successive win this week.
Batth was also solid in defence as Wednesday kept their fourth clean sheet in a row to keep alive their hopes of automatic promotion from League One.
Wednesday are now a point behind city rivals Sheffield United, who occupy the second automatic spot with 68 points.
Batth will be hoping Wednesday stretch their unbeaten run to five games when they visit Notts County next weekend.
